Job description

This position is a great opportunity for a creative, independent, thinking engineer to learn about CAD, PLM, PDM, and IT. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of data migration tasks with a fun, close-knit, team. You will have an opportunity to make a significant, positive impact to our company, customers, and partners. This position will support multiple Levitek Business Units. Our evaluation period is an IT industry standard 6-months.

Levitek is building a team in Pune, India to work directly on Levitek projects (we are NOT a consultancy firm). Most of our projects are for small to large US based manufacturing companies with local and global offices. Levitek does not sell final year projects; final year projects will not be a part of your employment here. Levitek does not require payment for any training that you may receive; in fact, we will pay you your full salary from day 1 of your employment; we will invest in you – not the other way around! We do not have any legal bonds, nor do we need to deposit any money as a security against a bond, we only ask that you grow with us for as long as possible. Responsibilities

• Learn and apply database, CAD, PDM, PLM, and migration concepts

• Use and create SQL queries to extract data from complex system databases

• Transform small to large datasets using rules, Excel, SQL, and database methodologies

• Apply multiple techniques to load valuable customer data into PDM and PLM systems such as Windchill and PDM Professional

• Work in a distributed team environment to complete PDM/PLM migrations

• Configure and automate migration software and processes

• Analyse and resolve migration-related issues

• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Minimum Qualifications

• B.E/B.TECH/M.E/M.TECH in Computer Science/IT or BCA/MCA or related fields

• 1-3 years of experience in at least one of the following

  • Relational databases, SQL

  • Computer Aided Drafting / Design (CAD)

  • Product Document Management (PDM)

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to PDM / PLM (PDM Professional, Enterprise PDM, Windchill, Teamcenter, Enovia, Aras, Agile, or SAP PLM)

• Exposure to CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, SolidEdge, or Inventor)

• Exposure to programming (Web Services, UI technologies like Applet, Swing or other, C++, C# .NET)
